Ripley Boar Chase
The Ripley Boar Chase run will be
held on the same day as the show, 14th August 2011,
and is a fantastic and challenging run of approximately 7 Kms. on
paths and tracks on the
picturesque Ripley Estate
Entry Fees
Unaffiliated Adults - £12.00
Affiliated- £10.00
On the Day £8 all
entries
Entries received before 30th July,
qualify for free entry tickets to the show ground;
entries on the day do NOT qualify for free tickets to the show.

The
Boar Chase Route
The Chase starts at
the show ground and follows the ancient deer path through to
the bridleway heading west, it’s from here the hard work
starts. It’s a gradual climb of 80 meters for approximately
4K with one or two sharp hill climbs, The bridleway passes
through the wooded area of Hollybank and then onto the
single mantel track heading up to Clint Bank. The climb
continues up to Clint Grange Farm and then heads off for one
kilometre of cross country. It’s at this point that the wind
should be in your hair and a fast downhill 3K back to the
showground.
